I am a first time user of Hillsdale Tyres & More and am writing to express my thanks and appreciation for the high quality of service provided by the team of tradesmen there.
As a female and a new resident to Sydney, I have had difficulty in the past finding an honest and reliable mechanical service. There have been countless times that I have been overcharged, treated disrespectfully and have had work completed on my car before I have been properly consulted. It also seems that every time I take my car in for a simple service there is some costly problem with it.
So after being told by a large Tyre & Auto Service that my car could not have a wheel alignment because of a much needed (and expensive) suspension replacement, I decided to get a second opinion. I was recommended by a female work colleague to call Hillside Tyres & More as she had found them in the past to be very helpful and ‘female friendly’.
From when I first made the phone call to Hillsdale Tyres & More I found them to be very polite and considerate of my situation. I was pleased even more when they fitted me into their schedule on such short notice.
Upon arriving at the workshop they asked me what my concerns were with my car and told me that they would have a look at it free of charge, which proved to me straight away that they were not out to overcharge me. It turned out that the major problem I had been told of previously could be fixed by simply tightening some of the structural elements in the car’s suspension and rechecking the status of one of these next time I had my car serviced. The wheel alignment could then be carried out and the tradesman gave me his recommendation that I should have this done as it ensures safer control of the vehicle.
The tradesmen then provided me with their recommendations and gave me estimations of time frames in which they thought certain procedures should be carried out on my car. Their honesty shone through here as in turn this will spread the cost of servicing and will save needless replacement of parts.
Overall , I found Hillsdale Tyres & More to be very professional as they treated me with respect, provided excellent and honest automotive service and explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. Above all this, I am very pleased and happily to have finally found a tyre and auto service that is honest and reliable such as Hillsdale Tyres & More and will have no trouble recommending them to others!
