Since January 1973 new vehicles have been required by law to
have a tyre placard. This is affixed and can often be found in the
glove box, on thethe load driver's door pillar, on the inside of
the fuel cap or sometimes under the bonnet of your car.
The tyre placard provides important recommended information on
tyre pressures and is how your tyres will be provided when you
purchase a new car.
Remember your tyre pressure requirements may vary dependent on
your trip and the load you're carrying. For example, travelling for
long distances on express or freeways often requires a different
tyre pressure than daily driving. Tyres and More specialists
can assist you with this information, but we suggest you locate
your tyre placard and be aware of this important information.
