What is it?

New vehicles are required by law to have a tyre placard. This is affixed to the car on purchase. It can often be found in the glove box, on the load driver's door pillar, on the inside of the fuel cap or sometimes under the bonnet of your car.

The tyre placard provides important recommended information on tyre pressures. Your tyres should be in the recommended state when purchased.

Important Pressure Points:

  • Your tyre pressure requirements may vary dependent on your trip. Travelling long distances on freeways often requires a different pressure than daily driving.
  • Carrying a heavier load may also require a different tyre pressure.

Tyres & More specialists can assist you with this information, but we suggest you locate your tyre placard and be aware of this important information.
