Tyre Puncture Repairs for cars, SUVs & 4x4s

We get it, a flat tyre always shows up at the worst time. School run, weekend trip, or just as you’re heading home – bang there it is. Fortunately, Tyres & More make tyre puncture repairs a whole lot easier.

Give your nearest Tyres & More Store a quick call first. Depending on where you are:

  • They may recommend you drop it off for repair
  • They might sell you a new tyre and fit it on the spot
  • They might even send a mobile tyre fitter or roadside truck to the rescue.

Flats happen; fixing them doesn’t have to be a headache.

Noticed a flat? Stay safe

If you know how to change a tyre and can change it safely, away from traffic, go for it.

If not, don’t risk it – getting hit by passing traffic just isn’t worth it.

And whatever you do, try not to drive on a flat. You could wreck the tyre beyond repair.

If it’s a run-flat tyre, you can drive a short distance, but slowly!

Before attempting to change your tyre, check the spare’s got air and is in good shape.

If it’s damaged or under-inflated, skip the DIY and call a roadside service or your local Tyres & More.

If it’s a ship-shape full-size spare, remove the flat, fit the spare tyre and go to the nearest service station to check the pressure.

If you’ve got a temporary or space-saver spare tyre, remember:

Check the pressure, drive for no more than 80 km and keep your speed under 80 km/h.

It’s just meant to get you to safety.

Slow Leak? Don’t Ignore It

Got a tyre that keeps losing a bit of air? Sometimes it’s just a worn valve or a crack in the sidewall. The most common culprits are sharp objects; think sneaky nail or screw.

Top up the air pressure, then pop in and see us. We’ll fix your slow leak fast.

Can your tyre be repaired?

Not every puncture can be saved, but if it can, we’ll sort it properly.

We always follow strict Australian Safety Standards to make sure your tyre repair is 100% safe to drive and legal.

We CAN repair your tyre if:

  • The puncture is in the central tread area
  • The hole is 6mm or smaller
  • There’s no tyre sidewall or internal damage.

We CAN’T repair it if:

  • The puncture is on the sidewall or shoulder
  • There are multiple holes close together
  • There are signs of belt separation, impact damage, or dodgy past repairs
  • The tread’s worn below 1.5mm (that’s the legal limit in Australia).

If it’s not safe to drive on, we’ll help you find a great-value replacement from a trusted tyre manufacturer.
