How to register for the Kumho Road Hazard Warranty
After you purchase your tyres from Tyres and More visit www.kumho.com.au/tyres-link/road-hazard-warranty and provide your purchase and contact details. A receipt will be sent to your mobile or email address.
To make a claim against the Kumho Road Hazard Warranty
If a tyre is damaged due to a road hazard within the first 180 days from the date of purchase, contact the Tyres and More you bought the tyres from or find a participating Tyres and More tyre shop.
Provide the Tyres and More staff with a copy of your registration receipt and a copy of the original invoice for the purchase of these tyres.
The tyres specified above will be replaced with Kumho tyres of the same size and pattern, if available. If not available, a comparable quality tyre will be substituted.
Service costs such as fitting, wheel balancing, wheel alignment and tyre disposal are not included and are payable to the fitting dealer by you directly.
The free replacement tyre is to be fitted to the vehicle stated in the warranty registration.
Kumho Tyre Australia Pty Ltd (“Kumho Tyre Australia”) is pleased to offer you this Road Hazard Warranty (“Warranty”).
Please note that this warranty is optional additional protection and in order to be covered by this warranty, you must register your purchase on www.kumho.com.au/tyres-link/road-hazard-warranty.
*TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser who completes the online warranty registration.
This Warranty applies only to tyres imported to Australia by Kumho Tyre Australia and operated within Australia. Tyres purchased and normally used outside Australia are not covered under this Warranty.
The warranty covers damage to a tyre caused by colliding with gutters, potholes or foreign objects on the road. This Warranty is not valid on damage that can be repaired, such as a nail penetrating the tread. Kumho accepts no responsibility for injury to persons or damage to vehicle as a result of the Kumho tyres being damaged.
Kumho reserves the right to inspect damaged tyres before providing a free replacement tyre.
To the extent permitted by law, liabilities for consequential damages are disclaimed. In no case shall Kumho Tyre Australia Pty Ltd’s liability exceed the original cost of the purchased tyres (excluding service charges)
Run flat tyres are not applicable.
The applicable area is tarmac roads within Australia.
Tyres will not be covered by this Warranty if damage is caused: – By an act of vandalism, theft, willful abuse and neglect. – Use in motorsport, and non-tarmac roads. – Use in other than normal driving conditions or in commercial situations such as taxis, hire cars etc. – As a result of improper use or operation, including without limitation improper inflation pressure, overloading, use of an improper rim, vehicle misalignment, tyre/wheel assembly/ imbalance or other vehicle conditions, defects or characteristics, worn suspension components, improper mounting or demounting, misuse, misapplication, negligence, tyre spinning, tyre chain damage, chemical contamination (such as sealers, fillers, etc), fire or other externally generated heat, water or other material trapped inside the tyre during mounting, tyre alteration, racing or competition use, failure to rotate properly or regularly, or to properly maintain tyres. Tyres measuring less than 1.6mm of tread remaining are also not applicable to the warranty

YOUR RIGHTS
Our Road Hazard Warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies that you have under a law in relation to the goods that we provide. Further, our goods come with warranties that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
