Tyre Mileage Guarantee Terms & Conditions

The new Yokohama Geolandar H/T4 G062 sets a new benchmark in durability, delivering the highest mileage performance in the Australian Highway Terrain market backed by our industry leading 90,000KM Mileage Guarantee when you purchase 4 or more tyres. The all-new 4th Generation Yokohama Geolandar Highway Terrain tyre has been engineered for exceptional performance on large SUV’s and Pickups. The Geolandar H/T4 features a refined tread compound engineered to deliver exceptional tread life, impressive wet‑weather performance, and responsive handling. Its reduced rolling resistance enhances fuel efficiency, giving drivers better value over the life of the tyre. This high level of engineering and performance gives us the confidence to offer our mileage guarantee.

How the Yokohama 90,000km Mileage Guarantee works

  1. Simply purchase 4 or more Yokohama Geolandar H/T4 G062 tyres and a wheel alignment at any Yokohama Authorised Dealer and register for the Mileage Guarantee at www.yokohama.com.au within 30 days of your purchase.
  2. Return your vehicle to a participating Yokohama Authorised Dealer to have your tyres serviced every 6 months or 10,000km’s whichever comes first (keep your tyre purchase and service receipts).
  3. In the rare case your Geolandar H/T4 G062 tyres wear down to the treadwear indicators before providing the guaranteed 90,000km mileage, a replacement tyre(s) will be provided on a pro-rata basis.

This means, if your Geolandar H/T4 G062 tyre delivers 81,000km, you will receive a discount of 10% (9,000 / 90,000 = 10%) off the current recommended retail price on an equivalent Yokohama replacement tyre at a Yokohama Authorised Dealer.

For example, on a $300 tyre (RRP), the customer will receive a $30 discount per tyre off an equivalent Yokohama replacement tyre.

Mileage Guarantee terms and conditions:

  • To be eligible for the Yokohama Geolandar H/T4 G062 mileage guarantee you must purchase a set of four or more tyres plus a wheel alignment in a single transaction at a Yokohama Authorised Dealer.
  • The tyre purchaser must register their purchase of 4 or more Geolandar H/T4 G062 tyres at www.yokohama.com.au within 30 days of purchase. You can register by navigating to the Mileage Guarantee page and completing the online registration process form. You must register your Yokohama Geolandar H/T4 G062 tyre purchase to be eligible for the Mileage Guarantee.
  • At the time of purchase, all 4 or more Geolandar H/T4 G062 tyres must be fitted to the same vehicle. The vehicle must have wheel balancing and a wheel alignment conducted at fitment.
  • The Yokohama Geolandar H/T4 G062 90,000km mileage guarantee is only available for Geolandar H/T4 G062 tyre products and is provided in addition to the Yokohama Tyre Australia Manufacturer Warranty.
  • The mileage guarantee is not transferable for a change of vehicle ownership, and expires after 90,000km, or 5 years from the date of purchase, or because the tyre is no longer serviceable, whichever comes first.

Tyre Servicing Requirements:

  • A tyre maintenance service must be conducted every 10000km or 6 months, (whichever comes first) at a Yokohama Authorised Dealer. Tyres must be rotated at every service, and the service must include a visual inspection of the tyres, checking for appropriate tyre pressure, wheel balancing and wheel alignment, plus include any other appropriate services when needed as recommended by a Yokohama authorised retailer.
  • Note: Yokohama Authorised Dealer can be found on the Yokohama Tyres Australian website www.yokohama.com.au/store-finder.
  • Tyre inflation pressure must be set and maintained to the vehicle manufacturers recommended tyre pressures (refer vehicle tyre placard)
  • Tyre purchase invoice and tyre servicing invoices must be retained and made available if required.


Exclusions:
This Mileage Guarantee excludes the following:

  • Tyres which are unevenly worn down to the tread wear indicators (1.6mm).
  • Tyres which are not worn down to the tread wear indicators in the main circumferential tread grooves (where tread wear indicators are located).
  • Tyres supplied as original equipment on a new vehicle.
  • Geolandar H/T4 G062 tyre purchases that have not been registered within 30 days of purchase for the tyre Mileage Guarantee.
  • Tyres used in commercial services including but not limited to police, taxi, uber or other ride sharing services, national accounts, government, fleet, contract sales, mine sites, motorsport, competitive use, and towing.
  • Damages including but not limited to punctures, impact damage, breaks/cuts from foreign object, improper repair, snow chains, vandalism, theft, wreck, collision, fire, wilful damage, or chemical degradation.
  • Any tyre that has not been repaired in accordance with the industry standards.
  • Wear caused by improper use, including but not limited to improper inflation, overloading, wheel imbalance, misalignment, misapplication, defective vehicle mechanical components, wheel spins (burnouts), competition, racing, towing, or off-road use.
  • The Mileage Guarantee is not available on tyres purchased outside of Australia.

Making a Mileage Guarantee claim:

  • If the tyres are worn down evenly to the tread wear indicators before reaching the guaranteed mileage of 90,000km, within 5 years of purchase and met the terms and conditions, the customer is eligible for a pro rata claim for replacement tyre(s).
  • When making a claim for a replacement tyre(s), you must present your tyre(s), to the Yokohama Authorised Dealer (place of purchase) with your tyre servicing records and the tyre purchase invoice that shows the tyre description, odometer readings and date of installation and any services provided.
  • The Yokohama Authorised Dealer will complete a Mileage Guarantee claim application form (available at www.yokohama.com.au/g062mileageguarantee) and submit the claim application form along with original tyre purchase invoice and the tyre servicing history invoices to Yokohama Tyre Australia by email to mileageguarantee@yokohama.com.au for adjudication.
  • Once the claim has been submitted and all the relevant documents have been received (e.g. mileage guarantee claim form, tyre purchase invoice, tyre servicing records), Yokohama Tyre Australia will then assess the claim and provide the credit value based on the sales invoice if the claim is successful.
  • Replacement tyre refers to Geolandar H/T4 G062 tyre or an equivalent priced Yokohama branded tyre of our choice should the Geolandar H/T4 G062 become unavailable. Any extra cost or fees/government charges must be paid by the recipient.
  • Tyres removed and replaced under the Yokohama Geolandar H/T4 G062 mileage guarantee become the property of Yokohama Tyre Australia.

Your legal rights:

  • Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
  • You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
